The web log called Scriptorium - Digitale Rekonstruktionen mittelalterlicher Bibliotheken aims at offering a platform for the exchange on the digital reconstruction and exploration of historical library holdings. It is especially devoted to the question how further treatment of digitized book collections can look like. On the one hand an exchange between projects and researchers in this field shall be encouraged, on the other hand the mutual understanding between information scientists and humanities scholars using digital tools shall be intensified.
