Team eCodicology

 

AP 1: Metadata, Data Ingest

Hannah Busch holds a B.A. degree from the University of Bonn and the University of Florence in German-Italian Studies and a M.A. in Textual Scholarship from the Free University of Berlin. She is a Research Assistant at Trier Center for Digital Humanities and works for the project "eCodicology".

Sabine Philippi

studied art history, classical archeology and catholic theology (Magister) at the University of Trier. From 2010 till 2014 she was research assistant at Stadtbibliothek/Stadtarchiv Trier working for the DFG project Virtual Scriptorium St. Matthias. Currently she is a research assistant at Trier Center for Digital Humanities and works for the Project eCodicology.

Simon Tretter (Academic Assistant)

AP 2: Inventory of Manuscript Features, Metadata Schema, Analysis

Oliver Schmid studied Business Informatics (Diplom) at the University of Mannheim and received a doctor’s degree in Economics at Technische Universität Darmstadt. From 2009 to 2011 he was Research Fellow at the University of Trier, since 2011 he has been working at the Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies at Technische Universität Darmstadt. He has participated in the projects TextGrid and WissGrid and is working for eCodicology since 2015.

AP 3: Software Architecture, Feature Extraction , Algorithms

Swati Chandna studied Computer Science (Master). She is a researcher at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) working for the project eCodicology-Algorithms for the Automatic Tagging of Medieval Manuscripts. Her research interests are digital image processing, pattern recognition, software engineering and algorithms for processing large scale data.

Former Staff

Celia Krause studied Classics at the Universities of Heidelberg and Cologne. Since 2011 she is a Research Assistant at the Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies of the Technical University Darmstadt where she is currently working for the project "eCodicology".

Philipp Vanscheidt studied Comparative Literature, History, Philosophy and Textual Scholarship in Constance, Bielefeld and Berlin. He is a Research Assistant at Trier Center for Digital Humanities and the Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies of the Technical University Darmstadt and works for the projects "TextGrid" and "eCodicology".
