Conference "Research of Written Documents in the Digital Age"
On 22 and 23 February 2016 the Technische Universität Darmstadt will host an international conference "Research of Written Documents in the Digital Age" in the Georg Christoph Lichtenberg-Haus. The third conference will complete the series "Machines and Manuscripts" organized by the BMBF-funded project eCodicology. The event will focus on reuse of electronic catalogues and digital images, the quantitative and comparative codicology, layout studies and bibliometric methods as well as data processing and visualization. Our aim is to facilitate an open dialogue between traditional and digital researchers and to discuss prospects and constraints of digital research on manuscripts together.
